Premium Avocados
From the Shadow
of Kilimanjaro
Hass and Fuerte avocados grown at 1,400 metres on rich volcanic soil. Farm-to-port quality control. Exported to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Three generations. One obsession: quality.
In 1998, Joseph Moshi planted the first Hass seedlings on a steep hillside outside Arusha — land his father had farmed for coffee, now quietly becoming something far more valuable. Twenty-seven years later, Kilimanjaro Avocado Farm spans 1,200 hectares across the volcanic foothills, employing over 340 people and exporting to grocery chains across Germany, the Netherlands, the UAE, and Japan.
What hasn't changed is the logic: altitude produces density, volcanic soil produces flavour, and patience produces the kind of buttery richness that buyers in Rotterdam and Dubai keep coming back for. Every box that leaves our farm carries the same promise it did in 1998.

Two great varieties.
One uncompromising standard.
Both Hass and Fuerte are grown side by side on the same hillsides, harvested by hand, graded on-site, and packed to GlobalG.A.P. standards before they ever leave the farm gate.
Hass
The world's most exported avocado. Dense, creamy flesh with a rich nutty flavour that intensifies as the skin darkens. Our Hass is available year-round thanks to staggered planting across elevations.

Every box. Every season.
Our 4,800 m² on-site packhouse operates to European food safety standards. From harvest to refrigerated container, the entire process is traceable to the individual block and harvest date. Buyers receive digital phytosanitary documentation with every shipment.
Growing responsibly since day one.
We believe a farm that depletes its land doesn't survive three generations. Every practice on this farm — from drip irrigation to solar energy — is designed to keep the land productive for the next hundred years.
From grove to global.
Trusted across three continents.
"We've sourced from twelve African avocado farms. Kilimanjaro is the only one where the size uniformity and Brix levels are consistent enough for our premium supermarket programme. They understand what European buyers actually need."
"The cold-chain documentation they provide with every container is the most thorough we receive from any supplier globally. Our Dubai customs clearance times dropped by 40% after we switched to Kilimanjaro."
"What sets them apart is that Joseph and his team genuinely understand fruit maturity windows. We receive avocados that are exactly four days from eating ripeness — every time, year after year."
